Our FRANCESINE | N ° 59 are part of the large selection of Pasta ARRIGHI produced only and exclusively with durum wheat semolina. They are smaller than butterflies and have rounded wings. They retain the same characteristics of the Farfalle because they have soft wings that contrast with the tenacious heart, guaranteeing a sensation on the palate of alternating flavors and textures.

DID YOU KNOW THAT: The origin of the Butterflies and therefore also of the Francesine, can be found in Northern Italy in particular in the regions of Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy. In Emilia they are also called Stricchetti from a dialectal form of the verb "to tighten", with reference to the central pinch, or galani from the name of the gala bow tie used in the tuxedo. It is also a very popular format in France.
